Wigham and Wigham Cottage

Wigham dates from the late 16th Century and was reputedly visited by Fairfax, in command of the parliamentary force heading for Torrington in 1645.

With beautiful views, walks and nearby places to visit, this lovely thatched long-house offers an ideal base for a holiday in the West Country. There are many very good pubs and restaurants close by.

In the summer there is a heated swimming pool in the grounds.

Morchard Bishop is right in the centre of Devon with Exmoor to the North and Dartmoor to the South-West. Exeter is 17 miles and Crediton 7 miles.

The coast can be reached within 45 minutes.
